જગતના જીવ

જગતના જીવ 

ના રોકી શકે જાનાર ને કોઈ,
જગતમાં નકામું વગોવાતું મોત.

યમને ઠરાવે જવાબદાર સૌ કોઈ,
જગતમાં નકામાં ફરે કાતીલ લોક.

ના સાંભળે વેદ-પુરાણો ને કોઈ,
જગતમાં નકામાં રાગડા તાણે સંત.

પાપના દરિયામાં ડુબતા સૌ કોઈ,
જગતમાં નકામી ભટકે જીવંત લાશ.

અન્યના આત્માને બાળતા સૌ કોઈ,
જગતમાં નકામી કાગ ને નખાતી વાસ.
